Winter tour route at Hluboká Chateau
Winter tours at Hluboká Castle have been attracting visitors for several years. Visitors will visit the nine rooms of the private suites of the last four generations of the owners of the Hluboká estate - the Schwarzenbergs.
It used to be a tradition that the gates of the castle were closed to tourists on 31 October and the wait was until 1 April the following year. However, the tempered premises allow the castle staff to welcome visitors even in the cold season. There is much to offer. Gradually, rooms have been installed, which belong to the more intimate ones. Most of the ground floor, which offers a winter tour of the castle, was the private suite of the last four generations of the owners of the Hluboká estate. First we pass into the Hamilton drawing room. Already in the corridor, besides trophies and prints from the 18th century with the theme of hunting, we can notice framed photographs of members of the princely Schwarzenberg family. The motif of hunting also accompanies us in other rooms, the smoking saloon and the small dining room of the Theresia. Then follows the sumptuous hunting dining room, the preparation room, Dr. Adolf's small dining room, his study, living room and bedroom.
You can come for a tour from November 1 to December 17, Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
