Additional information
You can participate in all activities. Discover how much effort was needed to cultivate a field or care for animals. You can thresh grain with a flail, grind it on a stone mill, and try other farming activities. You will find out firsthand that the saying "No pain, no gain" is true. From the ground and sifted flour, you will make dough and bake grain cakes, pastries, sweet buns, or bread! And there is nothing better with a fragrant slice of bread than freshly churned butter and sweet buttermilk, homemade curd cheese, and traditional cheese. You can also comb and spin sheep’s wool on a spinning wheel and learn other wool and flax processing techniques.
The museum offers parking, Wi-Fi, and refreshments.
