Additional information
One of the many rock formations in the forests around Zvůle Pond is this bizarrely shaped boulder, hidden near the settlement of U Panského lesa in a triangle formed by Terezín, Nový Svět, and Valtínov. It is located about 200 meters from the green hiking trail and can be reached via a narrow footpath through a meadow, branching off from the green-marked trail between Valtínov and Terezín.
A great alternative is to combine the visit to the rock with a trip to the "U Jakuba" observation tower, which features a fun and educational forest park for children. One of the two educational trails, aptly named "To the Devil’s Butt", leads right to this amusing rock formation.
Another similarly distinctive rock is the Stone Table, hidden in the forests along the yellow hiking trail between Kunějov and Kunějovské samoty. It is believed to be a prehistoric megalithic monument.
Among the many rock formations scattered throughout Bohemian Canada, Devil’s Bread is also worth mentioning. It is located about halfway along the red-marked trail from Zvůle to the settlement of Na Jitrách.
