Lookout Tower at Jezerní Slať near Kvilda
Jezerní Slať is a raised bog located on the plateau of the Šumava Mountains. The 7-meter-high lookout tower offers breathtaking views of almost the entire peat bog as well as the opposite forested ridge. The highest observation platform is accessible via 21 steps.

How to get there
The starting point for visiting Jezerní Slať is the parking lot along the road from Kvilda to Horská Kvilda. Although it is only about 500 meters down a gentle slope to the observation tower via a narrow path, reaching it by bicycle is impossible. The entry of cyclists into Zone 1 of the national park is prohibited from the parking lot onwards.
