U kříže Viewpoint
The U kříže viewpoint is located on the right bank of the Vltava River, near the village of Poněšice, close to Hluboká nad Vltavou. From here, you get a breathtaking view of a section of the Vltava River.
How to get there
You can reach the viewpoint by car or bike via cycling route 11 from Hluboká nad Vltavou. There is a parking lot about 7 km past Hluboká on the left side. From there, walk 200 meters along the road and then almost 2 km along a forest path. Be careful not to miss the turn-off – the final stretch is accessible only via a small, inconspicuous footpath.
