Vysoký Kamýk Lookout Tower
The original stone geodetic tower was transformed into a metal lookout tower in 2011.
The tower also serves as a transmission point for mobile network operators. It stands 46 meters tall, with a viewing platform at 33 meters offering views of Temelín, the Bohemian Forest, Kleť, and the Novohradské Mountains.

How to get there
Access routes to the lookout tower:
- From Protivín: Follow the yellow hiking trail, switching to the blue trail before reaching the peak (approx. 9 km).
- From Albrechtice nad Vltavou: Follow the green hiking trail (approx. 3 km).
- From Všeteč: Walk to the forest edge, where the green trail begins and leads directly to the tower.
- Also accessible from nearby villages: (Těšínov, Krč, Nová Ves) via various paths.
