Zadov Lookout Tower
A truly unique lookout tower created from a former ski jumping hill that ceased operation in the mid-1990s. After climbing 158 steps, visitors reach a 32-meter-high viewing platform offering breathtaking views of the Šumava Mountains and the surrounding landscape. The platform is located at the top of the wooden inrun ramp of the jump.

How to get there
To reach the ski jump, you can hike from the Churáňov cable car station along an asphalt road to Pension U Lenců, turn left, and continue uphill to the Zadov cable car station.
Additional information
The original look of the ski jump and its tower has been preserved. The supporting structure was treated with an anti-corrosion coating, and missing paneling was restored. The old windows were replaced with new wooden ones. The viewing platform has also been fully renovated, featuring new paneling, flooring, and railings.
Visitors can also use the Zadov-Kobyla cable car to reach the tower. At the lower station, there is a refreshment stand and a children’s playground.
