The English Tower of Rožmberk Castle
The square-shaped English Tower dominates the lower part of Rožmberk Castle. The circular view from the open gallery, which is surrounded by battlements at a height of 28 meters, offers stunning panoramic views of the town of Rožmberk and the Vltava River, which encircles the castle from the southwest.
The surrounding area features numerous hiking trails that are perfect for both cycling and walking tours of the region. Bicycle stands are available in the castle courtyard for your convenience.
You can combine your visit to Rožmberk Castle with a canoeing or rafting trip along the Vltava River from Vyšší Brod (10 km upstream).
