Popelín Brewery

Popelín Brewery

It is said that monks from the Popelín monastery were brewing beer as early as the 16th century.

Popelín beer, brewed since 2013 in the building of the "U Zemanů" pub, is made using the traditional Czech method from water, barley malts, and several varieties of Saaz hops. All beers are yeast beers, unfiltered, and unpasteurized. The brewery has achieved success in several national and international competitions and has won significant awards for its beers.
