Nová Bystřice Brewery
The brewery builds on the tradition of beer brewing in Nová Bystřice, where in 1482 the town's citizens received brewing rights from their lord Wolfgang Kraiger of Kraigk.
The brewery was established in 2017, and beer production resumed in spring 2018. Beers are brewed in the Pilsner style using a double-decoction process and bottom fermentation. Specialty beers, such as ALE and IPA, are top-fermented. Czech malts and the finest Saaz hops are used for brewing. The beers are unfiltered and unpasteurized, preserving all the live cultures and vitamins that are beneficial for the body. The brewery combines malt, hops, and water from the wild Bohemian Canada region into a golden, delicious beverage with a pleasantly bitter taste and a golden, sun-like hue.
The brewery offers spaces for gatherings with friends, family, or colleagues, accommodating 15–20 people. Gift beer sets, including kegs and PET bottles, are also available for takeaway.
