Březí Koza - Vlachovo Březí Brewery
A brewery continuing the brewing tradition dating back to 1538.
They believe in tradition, honesty, and doing things the right way. That’s why they are bringing life back to the brewery in Vlachovo Březí, which has existed here for centuries. They brew beer from water, malt, and hops, ferment it traditionally in open vats, and let it mature for a long time. They do not filter or pasteurize, so you can enjoy fresh, live beer full of flavor.
The brewing history in Vlachovo Březí dates back to 1538. The manor brewery was built in its current form in 1670 and operated continuously until 1922. After 97 long years and extensive reconstruction, brewing operations resumed in 2019, and since then, they have been producing the carefully crafted beer Březí Koza.
Brewed Beers: Březí Koza Originál, Březí Koza Hop Hop Hop, Březí Koza Jantar, Březí Koza KoloBěžka, Březí Koza Vídeň.
Where to taste and buy: Beer can be purchased directly at the brewery in bottles (gift packaging) or kegs (15, 30, and 50 liters). The brewery does not operate its own restaurant but supplies beer to restaurants in the surrounding area.
