Dvorec Zoological Garden

Visit the Dvorec Zoo and travel to different continents.

The Dvorec Zoo is situated in South Bohemia, 4 km from Borovany in the direction of Trhové Sviny. The zoo exhibits and, most importantly, breeds animals mostly from Africa. Visitors can view pens with lions, tigers, wolves, gibbons, hippos, baboons, chimpanzees, turtles, wildebeests, oryx, warthogs and many other animals from various continents. Since 2014, the Zoo has had the largest collection of cobras of the Naja genus. Of the 22 species in this genus, the zoo has 21. Every year we organize events for children; we have benches to rest on, and you can have refreshments in the pergola of the Crocodile Pub.
