Doudle*beer Brewery

Doudle*beer Brewery

In 2022, long-time friends Sedly and Mirunka, united by their passion for beer, decided to establish the Doudle*beer microbrewery. Interestingly, both come from completely different professions: Mirunka is a midwife, and Sedly is a mechanical engineer.

The first spark for brewing beer came from Sedly’s close friends, who gifted him a brewing course at the University of South Bohemia. Two months later, when the beer was tapped, they realized it was simply beer. Delicious and complete in every way.

And so it began: experiments in a small workshop. A gas burner, a pot, a perforated metal strainer, hoses, and a basic cooler. Almost every Friday, the workshop turned into a brewery, producing 65 batches over two years. As “appetite grows with eating” – or in this case, “thirst fuels desire” – the brewed beer soon became insufficient. Thus, the two enthusiasts began planning a larger brewery, which they completed in a garage within seven months.

The microbrewery now features a 250-liter kettle, mash tun, CK tank, two lager tanks, and a cooling box. They completed retraining to become brewmaster and brewster and founded the company DOUDLEBEER s.r.o.
