The Čížová Brewery is housed in the Čížová Castle building, where beer has been brewed since 1629. The reconstruction of the building from a fortress into a country castle with a brewery and malt house was completed by Jan Deym – an imperial councilor, a member of the supreme court, and a capable man in every respect.
