Záboří – Village Heritage Reserve
Village heritage reserve since 1995
The first written mention of the village of Záboří dates back to 1263. Today, Záboří, together with Holašovice, is one of the most important heritage-protected rural Baroque sites. Visitors can admire a valuable collection of farmsteads with granaries, built in the South Bohemian rural Baroque style.
The spacious village square features a blacksmith’s workshop and a chapel dating back to 1841. A stream flows through Záboří, spanned by a unique wayside shrine from 1852.
