The microbrewery opened on March 21, 2015, restoring a beer-brewing tradition in Český Rudolec that began in 1539. The brew kettles are located inside the restaurant in the Castle Guesthouse building, while the fermentation tanks and lager cellars are housed in the renovated historic building of the former forge. The beer is brewed by brewmaster Radovana Kocmanová.

The microbrewery produces the following beers:

  • Světlé výčepní VLADYKA 11% (light draft beer)
  • Světlý speciál „ležák“ GRASEL 13% (light special lager)
  • Tmavý speciál Černá růže 15% (dark specialty beer)
  • Polotmavý speciál Rytíř von Picchioni 13% RED ALE (amber specialty beer)
  • Světlý speciál Zámecká IPA 16% (light specialty IPA)
  • Vánoční polotmavý ležák Štěpán 12% (Christmas amber lager)
