Zvůle Pond

Zvůle Pond, located near the village of the same name, is a popular spot for swimming.

The pond located in the midst of the Česká Kanada forests was constructed in the 16th century by the Krajíř family from Krajek (established in 1571). Zvůle Pond and its surroundings are perfectly suited for relaxation. The pond covers an area of 8 hectares with a maximum depth of 2.5 meters. Its sandy bottom and high water flow ensure exceptionally clean water. Around the pond, there are grassy and sandy beaches, ideal for everyone to enjoy.

Natural Curiosities

At the bottom of the pond and in the surrounding forests, you can see large granite stones, typical of the Czech Canada region. Some areas feature groups of boulders, called stone herds, with heights reaching up to 4 meters. The most impressive formations are found along the path from Zvůle to Jitra, where you can spot the "Devil's Bread" boulder. Another fascinating formation is the Stodůlky stone group, located northwest of Zvůle.
