Červené blato Educational Trail

Would you like to learn what makes the Třeboň peat bogs unique, what "Borkování" means, what a peat lake looks like, or how the Labrador tea (Rhododendron tomentosum) blooms? Then visit the Červené blato educational trail, where you can observe the most fascinating parts of the peat bog from wooden boardwalks. In spring, the area is covered in a blanket of white Labrador tea flowers.

Please stay on the marked trail while visiting this protected reserve. The wooden walkways are relatively narrow, so the path is only for pedestrians – cycling and strollers are not permitted. Along the route, you will find resting spots and a covered seating area.
