Route description

The journey along the Štěpánek Netolický Cycle Path starts at the square in front of the Museum of JUDr. Otakar Kudrna. Here, a memorial plaque is dedicated to the famous native, who significantly contributed to the development of the pond network in South Bohemia. This cycle path is named after him and follows a 16 km route around 16 ponds.

We get on our bikes and ride along Bavorovská Street, crossing the main road intersection (watch out for passing vehicles!). We continue along the Myslivna pond, locally known as Jegr.

At its end, on the left side, we pass a stud farm with a show jumping arena, followed by a horse racing track. Netolice is famous for horse breeding, and several stud farms are still in operation in the area. After the racing track, we see the rear wing of Kratochvíle Castle. On the right side of the road, at the end of the protected plane tree alley, we pass the Honzovský pond.
