Discover the beauty of the Bechyně region from the seat of an e-bike. No hill is an obstacle, and it’s up to you how long route you choose, or whether you follow one of the suggested routes in the Bechyně area.

The goal of this route is a visit to a unique cult site on Burkovák Hill (also known as Mount Tábor). In the Middle Ages, this place was full of religious gatherings. Years ago, a replica of a megalithic structure – a stone circle – was built here. This circle offers visitors not only beautiful views but also the opportunity for healing and spiritual strengthening.

Interesting places on the route

  • Radětice
  • Nepomuk-Karlov - Wooden bell tower at house no. 18.
  • Mount Tábor - Also known as Burkovák Hill (504 m above sea level). According to discovered historical artifacts, there was likely a natural sanctuary with a sacred tree here. During the Hussite period, assemblies and sermons were held there, and nearby are burial mounds from the Hallstatt period.
  • Stone Circle Komlech - Built in 2010 as a modern replica of megalithic structures, with stones selected from the surrounding area.
  • Bernartice Church of St. Martin - dates from the first half of the 13th century, and gained its final Baroque form in the first half of the 18th century.
