Cycling to Kleť
If you've already explored Český Krumlov thoroughly, take a full- or half-day trip to Kleť. At 1,084 meters, it is the highest peak in the Blanský les mountains.
After a demanding uphill ride, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking view from the lookout tower – on a clear day, you can see as far as the Alps. At the Horská chata Kleť, you can recharge with their famous garlic soup or another local specialty. The descent is quick and effortless.

How do you get to the start
You can cycle to the summit of Kleť directly from the center of Český Krumlov. Follow the yellow trail to Vyšný, then switch to the green-marked path leading to cycling route 1166. Shortly after, transition to route 1166 A, which takes you to the top. On the way, you can make a detour to the Granátník lookout tower.

Josef’s Tower (Josefova věž)
- 18-meter-high stone lookout tower built in 1825 by Prince Josef Schwarzenberg.

- Mountain lodge built in 1925, located next to the lookout tower.

Kleť Observatory

Krasetín-Kleť Chairlift
