How do you get to the start

If you’re new to water sports or would like to try a different style of paddling but don’t feel confident going alone, you can book a guided trip with an instructor through one of the local rental services. The rental company will take you to the starting point, usually at the edge of town in Nové Spolí (see Start on the map). Alternatively, you can begin your trip from one of the boat rental stations in the city center, which will make the journey shorter.

How to get back

The finishing point is agreed upon in advance, most commonly at the campground at the end of Český Krumlov. We recommend Kemp Krumlov, where you can relax and wait for your transport back while enjoying refreshments. At the scheduled time, a driver will pick you up along with your boats and take you back to the city center.

Interesting places on the route

Nové Spolí – A sandy river entry point with swimming opportunities, located 200 meters from the covered wooden Rechle Bridge.

Rechle Bridge – A unique covered bridge, a protected technical monument from the 18th century. At 110 meters, it is one of the longest covered bridges in the Czech Republic.

• U Liry (Height: 1 m, Length: 33 m)
• Mrázkův mlýn (Height: 1.5 m, Length: 55 m)
• U Jelení lávky (Height: 1.5 m, Length: 56 m)

All weirs are navigable, but boats can also be carried around them.
