OPILDA Brewery

OPILDA Brewery

The story of the flying brewery began in 2018 in Vodňany, when the owner, a passionate beer enthusiast and craft beer taster, got into homebrewing.

After two years, the idea of selling beer commercially emerged, leading to the founding of the “Flying Brewery O’Pilda.”

“Flying Brewery” refers to breweries that do not have their own brewing equipment and instead brew their beer in a friendly brewery. In our case, it is the Kunratice Brewery.

Produced Beers:

  • Zander – Traditional Czech lager made from two types of malt, two types of hops, and a double-decoction process. It is characterized by its clear golden color, malty aroma, and full flavor.
  • Tench – American Blond ALE 11°, top-fermented refreshing summer ALE with citrus hints. The beer has a golden color and is hopped with German Mandarina Bavaria hops, giving it a fresh character.
  • Pike – Czech lager that, thanks to dry hopping, gains a pronounced hoppy taste and aroma. It has a smooth carbonation and higher fullness, making the most of Saaz Poloraný Červeňák hops.
  • Catfish – Vienna lager with an amber color achieved through a combination of Pilsner and Vienna malts. Thanks to a mix of Sládek and Saaz Poloraný Červeňák hops, it has medium bitterness and a notable aroma.
