Photographer Josef Seidel wants to inspire his son to pursue photography, but the boy isn’t interested.

The route starts at the Seidel Photo Studio, following the Vltava River under the Mantle Bridge to Vyšehrad, a lesser-known viewpoint of the town. The route then leads back to the castle, through the castle gardens, into Dubík Forest, and onto an educational trail. From Dubík, the journey continues through the Plešivec residential area and ends at the charming Plešivecké Square.

The route begins at the Český Krumlov Castle, passes through the Latrán district, along the riverbank, and over the footbridge to the cemetery. It continues to Hornobranský Pond, a summer swimming spot, then returns through the city center and under the Mantle Bridge, ending back at the castle.

Painter Egon Schiele moves from Vienna to Český Krumlov in search of inspiration, needing both a home and support.

The route starts at the Egon Schiele Art Centrum, crosses the Lazebnický Bridge, passes through Latrán, and reaches Svornosti Square. It then ascends to the Cross Mountain (Křížová hora) before returning to the city, following the southern meander of the Vltava, and ending at the Synagogue near Schiele’s Garden House.

The creators of the app have placed three routes in Krumlov: One takes you back to 1919, inspired by the work and life of photographer Josef Seidel, another transports you to 1593, where you will help the indebted ruler Petr Vok of Rosenberg, and the third explores the life of painter Egon Schiele in 1910.
